I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas meal.
I'm just have a fairly lazy day today (Boxing Day). Though I did cook a ham - boiling in Coca Cola first and then roasting with honey and orange.
That was interesting what you said, page4, about them looking at bear's hibernation to see if it would work with astronauts going to Mars. They say a journey to Mars would take 7 to 9 months, with a full trip including staying on Mars for the planets to realign for the return journey would be 2-3 years . They would have to be alert for much of the trip (have you watched the Netflix drama "Away") but maybe to super relax/sleep for part of it would make the journey seem shorter.
I must admit, every winter I feel like curling up and hibernating, though in Southern England it's not usually all that cold - maybe down to -5 C at night and hovering around 0 C during the coldest days, but often day time temps are +5 C to +8 C
