Many years ago, someone gave me heirloom flat, Italian beans.
His ancestors brought them from Italy when they moved to the US.
Those are the best beans I've ever eaten, and I'm not a fan of beans, but I love those!
They are pole beans and need a good trellis. I spend a lot of time every year, building the trellis, but it's worth it.
