It really depends on the climate.
Where I live, absolutely nothing can be grown all year.
With a far stretch of the imagination, we might be able to grow kale, parsley and leeks all year since these are extremely hardy vegetables, but they would get buried under the mountains of snow.

Vegetables can grow all year round but have different seasons, and their optimal growing times vary.

Tomatoes, garlic, lettuce, spinach, zucchini, peas, onions and some mushrooms can grow in most climates throughout the year
