Never heard of!

Do you have Dollar General in your area? Those stores are popping up all over the place here. There is even one close to me, it's just a 10 minute drive.

Not crazy about aldi near me.  Some things I go to Walmart for and others, I go to Ocean State Job Lot.  Discount store near me.  Has a lot of food and other stuff cheaper than  Walmart.

Aldi here, but there are some things they don't carry so I can't get everything there.

I tried that the other day and the woman who was returning her cart asked me if I have a quarter and I said "No." She walked away and returned her cart.  They don't have huge stores in Massachusetts near me and not much I can eat anyway.

I forget my quarter sometimes and more often than not, people will just hand you their cart. I pay it forward by handing my cart to someone who's about to put a quarter in.
I like the system they have with the quarters and I very rarely to never see abandoned carts littering their parking areas.

They do this in all the Aldi stores here, and they also do that in pretty much all stores in Belgium where I used to live.
The reason why they do this is so that people would not leave their carts all over the place and even though it's just a quarter, it works!

When you put your cart back, you have to push the little chain inside the next cart and you get the quarter back. It's not the same quarter that you put in, but you get your money back :)

I went to a different Aldi today.  In order to get a cart at this Aldi, You have to pay 25 cents.  I didn't pay the 25 cents, I wasn't sure if I would be buying anything there today.  I didn't buy anything lol.  I saved 25 cents.  I wonder if they will be doing this with all the Aldi stores in all the states they are in.  Does anyone else notice this in their state?

I've been comparing some prices recently.
The Walmart brand of any product appears to be cheaper compared to the same product at Aldi.
