Nowadays I'd be afraid to be in any enclosed space with a bunch of strangers.
I had covid back in October and it wasn't pretty.

Makes me wonder how many people take travel insurance

A cruise ship company has no obligation to issue a refund when you fall ill during a cruise.
The only way you'd get a refund is if you have travel insurance.

Do they get refunded when they fall ill during a cruise I wonder?

A cruise ship seems like a germ catcher to me, just like a plane and a train. Too many people in small spaces.
So many people fell ill on cruise ships at the beginning of the pandemic!

Over 300 people and 34 crew members fell ill on a cruise ship.
The article talks about norovirus which is also called a 'cruise ship virus'. I had heard of norovirus, but I had never heard it being associated with cruise ships.

Interesting! And sad, really. Going on a cruise is not cheap, and then you get sick..
