Actually, I think Sand is heavier!  It is definitely denser.

Awesome! I think it would be even heavier with sand in it instead of water.
LOL correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know if sand is heavier in a bottle than water but I assume so :)

With everything I buy I ask myself... do I want this, or do I need this?
There are many things that might be totally normal and present in any household, but not in mine.

A dough roller is one of those things. I bake most of my own stuff, so I do need to roll dough often. 
I don't use a roller for that though, I use a clear, flat bottle that I fill with water.

This is a picture I took earlier today while I was rolling out the dough doe my cinnamon rolls. It goes just as well as with a store-bought roller.
I fill the bottle with water to make it heavier.
