The time on the doomsday clock is closer to midnight than it has ever been before.

At our present time, we are dealing with climate change which has left a serious impact on the planet so far.
We are also dealing with threats of nuclear war, look at Russia - Ukraine war.
On top of that, we've been in the Covid-19 pandemic for well over 2 years now. It feels forever.

We live in dire times, indeed!

That doesn't surprise me at all, the way things are going has not been good. We will need to make a lot of changes in order to save our planet.

And then there is long covid.  In Taxachusetts, one of the biggest hospitals are laying off hundreds of nurses etc... ?????  Plastic in the water, wars, bird flu, with new strains.
