I don't have a normal tub.  I can't use epsom salt in it or it will ruin the finish.

I went down the list. Some actually made me frown, like using it on the grass. It kills weeds, I'd think it would kill grass as well.
I do like the idea of extending milk life. In the old days, people used salt to preserve their food.
The clothesline thing is super interesting.  Worth a try.

One thing I didn't see in the list, and it is something I do daily, is to put salt in your bath water to keep your skin from drying out and getting all itchy.
