Oh no, be safe. As if you've not had enough rain this year in the UK!
I woke up to quite a bit of snow. I had to brush off my car. At least it's not bitterly cold yet, but that's coming soon :)

We're ok here thank you. It has been very blustery but it did not rain quite as much as we were expecting. However they have got flooding in some parts of the UK especially in Wales and they had heavy snow in the north and in Scotland.

I expect you are quite adapted to the snow? Do you have to have good supplies in in case you are cut off?
It's good you still get good internet where you are. Some rural parts of the UK struggle to get internet connection.

Have the bears hibernated for the winter now?

Does Scotland usually get snow? Not sure about Wales. I think the weather pattern is changing everywhere.

I do think the bears have started their hibernation because I've not seen any fresh tracks in 2 weeks and I've not seen any on the trail cams.

I'll never adapt to the snow :)

Scotland does get a fair amount of snow over the winter months. They might get 30 days when it snows, compared to maybe 1 day of snow where I am. Wales certainly does get snow though mainly on the hills.

I think I would quite like to hibernate like the bears!

Oops I missed your post somehow!
It's funny, I was just thinking about the bears hibernating earlier today. I've not seen any so I'm sure they're already hibernating. The weather has been super cold and snowy.
I really would love to visit Scotland some day!

I talked to one of my brothers in Belgium a few days ago. He said they had not seen any snow so far over there this winter.

I hope you are managing in the extreme cold.
At least the bears will be snug hibernating!

How have you been?

The cold has been very bad and we had a blizzard that lasted 3 days. They declared the state of emergency and I've very rarely seen this here. We're still cleaning up. There is snow all over the place. Time to make another sculpture, as soon as it warms up a bit.

I'm glad to hear you are ok and I look forward to seeing photos of any ice sculptures you do. I hope conditions improve there for you soon.

It's cold here but at about zero degrees that's probably "really warm" compared to what you have there!

We did have a little snow fall but it didn't settle as the ground was too wet.

Oh dear, I'd love zero degrees right now. Would be T-shirt weather!

We're due for another sculpture, this was the one from December:

We have a heck of a lot more snow now, and still more coming.

I love the ice sculpture. That's great fun.

Keep safe in the cold and snow.
