Yes the fires in LA have been so terrible to hear about hasn't it with so many people loosing their homes and some people having died.
I'm glad you are ok on the East coast page4 despite the extreme cold and snow.
In answer to me staying up late, I quite often stay up after midnight but still have to get up at about 7:30 am the next morning during the week and sometimes have to get up at 6 am, so I really do need to go to bed earlier! At the weekend I can sleep in until 8:30-9am.
Yes I hope they can keep that fires under control soon. It is so sad to see. Even more when you've just recently been there. I sure hope Dwight and his familiy are ok...

The fires were main news in the UK for a couple of weeks but now it hasn't even been mentioned but I see new fires have erupted in California. I feel really sorry for all those living in the areas affected. I wish they could do more to prevent such spread of fires in future, but I don't know what.

Sorry I've not been on here for quite a while. It's been mega busy.
I've been helping sorting out things at my late mum's house as well as work, tax returns etc.
The world news has been "interesting" to say the least and I've been escaping watching The A Team and quite a few Netflix series, mainly sci-fi and following my favourite UK soap drama "Eastenders".
The weather has got pleasantly a lot milder recently up to about 12 C today and we actually had some sunshine ............ lovely.
