Sheep are lovely creatures. We have two pet sheep, and they honestly love being petted.
I've noticed though that they are not super smart.
For example, when the shearer comes and shears them, they don't recognize one another and they have to re-establish the pecking order.
Our sheep are picky eaters, they waste half of their hay in wintertime.
Rye is what they like the most. Even though it's supposed to be straw, they eat it as if it's hay.
They are afraid of their own shadow, and they're definitely afraid of people they don't know.
All in all, they are lovely animals to have tough.
