How to preserve lemon in a refrigerator?

Use the crisper drawer in your fridge.
Keep it out of plastic.
Store them in the water.
Keep other fruits at a distance.
Freeze your lemon

I've never tried freezing lemon but I'm up to the challenge because I freeze just about everything else.
