Hi there Bugamente (Murdocka).
It's great you've come on here and wonderful to see the photos. Looks like you had fun.
That's so cool being able to see the real stunt van.

I heard back from the webmaster of the fansite who said they had deleted the forums, youtube and Facebook because Dwight "no longer had an interest in it" which is very sad indeed.

I don't know what caused Dwight to loose interest. We can speculate but probably get the real reason wrong. He'll be 77 on November 24th - was age/health a reason? Or maybe he didn't like something?

I feel very sad for the webmasters who spent so much time and effort setting up the fansite and then maintaining it over many years - maybe 15 years plus?
I also feel really sad for all us fans as it was a brilliant site with so much info about Dwight.
Also I think to start with at least Dwight used to write posts on the forum but hadn't really for many years apart from sending Christmas/Easter messages every year.
Since I joined in about 2015 Dwight only posted once on the forum and that one was a bit controversial really to do with American politics. It was one link to another site and then he left us to it to debate it which led to some arguments among us so maybe not the most light hearted of topics to post.
He had so many fans on Facebook though that I would have thought that would have been worth it keeping going. I don't know, maybe something went wrong somehow along the way where Dwight just had enough of it all.
It's very sad for everyone though, including Dwight.
There's still a lot of love out there for him and he's missing out on that.
He doesn't use any other platforms on social media.
We can still chat on here (thanks to Chris) and still enjoy The A Team, Murdock and Star Trek NG and Barclay!
I still love you Dwight!

Yes, we had a lot of fun over there. We`ve seen a lot (Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Death Valley, Los Angeles, Valley of fire). It was very impressive. I had read about the museum before and hoped that they still might have the van. And they did. Yeaaahhh!! 😊 Had a nice talk with the guy who runs the museum.

So sad that Dwight has no longer interest in his fansite. 😥 But why turn it down completly? It hasn't done any harm to him, has it? And I was hoping that the forum would revive a little bit around his upcoming birthday...

It must have been quite an adventure Bugamente.
Many years ago my husband and I visited my brother who was living in Los Angeles at the time. We drove to Las Vegas and spent a couple of days there then decided to do what we naively thought was a short detour into Death Valley on our way to Palm Springs.
We didn't have enough water with us in Death Valley and I got heat exhaustion so was feeling quite poorly by the time we reached Palm Springs late at night.
We still remember it all these years later!

Happy 77th Birthday to Dwight!
I believe he's still working doing voice acting.
This year 2024 the following have been released with Dwight voicing characters:
Jellystone TV cartoon series - 1 episode
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth video game
Watchmen: Chapter 1
Batman:  Arkham Shadow video game

We have been to LA too. We drove down there one day stayed for the night and drove back the next evening. We visited the Hollywood Walk of fame, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. And I've been into the pacific ocean! At least with my feet... 😂

It wasn't so hot at the Death Valley in November. There were about 20°C so we had no problems with heat or dehydration. It's such an incredible landscape: Dante's View, Zabriskie Point, Badwater...

One thing I know for sure: I will have to be back over there some day... 🥰🇺🇸

I love the photos Bugamente. Well done finding the stars for George Peppard and Stephen J Cannell.

Hi All, I just subscribed on here to find out what has happened to the Dwight Schultz fansite. It's sad to hear they have removed everything. I wasn't on the forum much, but still visiting the site occasionally since I am a big fan of The A-team.

Only a few years ago Dwight was at a comic con in my country (Holland). This time I visited him with my kids. So that was really nice. But that will probably the last time. I met him before a few times at other comic cons. And it was always nice to speak with him.

I also remember the start of the Dwight Schultz fansite, because I know Choppercrazy from the A-Team fansite (www.ateamfans.nl). This site is still active, but not busy either. There it all started with the forums and chatting about The A-Team, Dwight Schultz, Dirk Benedict, Comic Cons, etc. I met Choppercrazy at one of the cons in Holland.

So it is nice meeting some of the fans here again. Hopefully some of the old members finds their way to here. Or maybe you still can find some members on the ateamfans website forum. But it has been quiet there too.

Or maybe just start all over and sharing the stories we have on here or anywhere. It is always nice to hear about it and keep good old memories alive.
