A friend showed me this and I've been using it whenever I shop online.

It's a browser extension through which you can earn points, but that's not the only thing it does.
You can cash in the points for real money via paypal.
You can also make a droplist, which I do on Amazon. It will then notify you when the price of an item drops after you put it on your drop list.
I recently saved $11 by being notified through Honey that an item went on sale. It went from $23 to $12 and I quickly bought it.
I've gotten points from shopping at walmart, shutterfly, Amazon, and so much more.

If you want to check it out, here is a link.

I've been using Honey for quite a while but I can't say I fully understand it.  I have no idea how they produce the cashback.
It saves when you put items on your drop list but I don't feel that the cashback adds up too quickly. I guess it depends on how much you shop online.
I earned like $7 in a year but I know that I'm not using it to the fullest. Some day when I have time I plan on looking into it a bit more closely.

I use honey too but more than 50% of the time I don't get cash back when it shows I'm going to get cashback. I might get rid of it.
