Does money buy happiness?

You know, I recently read an interesting article.
They had done a study of lottery winners. They had followed up with the winners a year, two years, 3 years, up to 5 years after they had won.
This was the conclusion: They would be exceptionally happy initially, like right after winning.
But after a few years, their happiness would go back to the same level it was at before they won the lottery.
People who had a tendency to not be content, were not content again after a few years.
People who were happy before winning, remained happy.
... and here is something to think about... if riches doesn't make happy and poverty doesn't make happy, then what does?
